My Visual Diary...

   Its summer,  everything in my garden is blooming even when the bugs are still bugging.

There is something about the plants and those bugs residing in it that is  bugging me  non-stop  to do something about it. Coming up I will share with everyone my new series 'Bug Bugging the Plant'.

Have been moving away from the subject matter "Girl" for a while.  Thinking of trying something new.  This was drawn with Adobe Illustrator. Wondering how this will look if it is carved on wood and print on Japanese rice paper.

Here, let me share with you how they look like...

I love spending time dressing up the girls with different hair color, hairstyle and clothing.

Complementary color scheme and contrast of warm & cool value to bring about a simple design. Analogous color scheme and a spot of warm accent color for focal attention.  Analogous color scheme and working with value contrast to give a sense of depth to the entire composition.

  These Chinese looking dolls were drawn in beginning of this year. I was inspired by the Chinese festive mood. Lately, I have this new addiction to Adobe Illustrator. I started exploring on the pen tool and find it really fun. I am going to use it often from now onward.

I wonder how many more versions I can think of.

I am planning to get them print and have them pasted around at home for 2016 CNY.
