I am planning to get them print and have them pasted around at home for 2016 CNY.

 Preparing to get them printed for 2016 Chinese New Year.

Another Chinese New Year 'Ang Pao' design is out. Soon will do the layout and get it print!

Every Thursday and Sunday morning chatting away with my cactuses.

Finally, the coloured version is out.  This is painted digitally with adobe photoshop.

My latest obsession... using washi tape for my illustrations. This is my first attempt. There are so many different washi tape designs out there. It is not easy to decide which one to buy because I do no want to end up over stock and not using them in the end. For this one I draw my character first then I decide which washi tape design I want for my character. It is almost like shopping for the right textile to dress up my character. 

Some random sketches I did yesterday. I will probably animate this some day.

One more day to go. 2 of them were drawn just last week. I thought these are good for birthday or Christmas cards. Can you see the air plant growing out from the baby's head on the first piece?

I was nominated by a friend to take up an Art Challenge in Facebook. I was supposed to post 3  sketches or drawing a day for 5 days and nominate another friend to do the same. It is preferred to post the stuffs that were done recently. Here is the 1/5 of Art Challenge: Life drawings. These are some drawings done 2 weeks ago in class with my students. They usually look at how I draw and use it a reference for their own drawings.
